Hobbit Holidays!

shireboundIt's September! Time to think about the birthdays of our beloved Frodo and Bilbo.
How did Bilbo's parents celebrate his birthday? How did Bilbo celebrate his own birthday, before Frodo came to live with him, and after? How about wee!Frodo parties, as well as post-adoption and after Bilbo left? What about that special party when Bilbo disappeared from the Shire and Frodo came of age? Did either hobbit give out birthday mathoms in the West? Did their friends in the Shire, Gondor, or Rohan celebrate on their special day after they sailed? How was Bilbo's birthday celebrated in Rivendell, if at all... and don't forget that the hobbits returned to Rivendell from their Quest the day before Bilbo and Frodo's birthdays.
And there are also autumnal or end-of-harvest festivals to be considered...
